Call for Homeschool Artists!

The Round Hill Arts Center is pleased to announce a call for submissions for a new exhibition of homeschool art. The exhibit is open to any two- or three-dimensional artwork by K-12 homeschool students that currently reside in Loudoun, Clarke, Fauquier, Warren, or Frederick Counties in Virginia, and Jefferson County, West Virginia.

Registration for the exhibit will take place through our website until Thursday, August 22, 2019, and each artist may submit up to three original pieces of art. Drop off will be Sunday, August 25 and Monday, August 26, from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

  • All work must be original pieces — no tracings or coloring sheets.

  • All work must have been created within the last 12 months.

  • All 2-D work must be exhibition ready, and should be framed with hanging wire attached to the back of the frame. Exception: Works on canvas may be unframed if it is a gallery wrapped canvas with no visible staples and the edges are neat and presentable.

  • All 3-D work must be attached to a base or be extremely stable.

  • All work should be labeled on the back or bottom with the artist’s first and last name, age, and grade, and with a title for the work.

  • Please contact us if you have any questions.

An artists’ reception will be held Sunday, September 15, 2019, from 12:30-3:00pm.

Pick up will be Sunday, September 29 and Monday, September 30, from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
